Do you accept financial aid?

No, the cost of the couse is to be paid in full prior to the start date of the course.

 

Are there additional fees on top of the regular tuition?

Yes, You must complete a criminal history background check prior to applying for the course. There is an $10.00 non-refundable fee for the background check.

The Tuition cost will provide each student with a uniform shirt and ID Badge. Textbooks, pants, belt, and boots are the responsibility of the student. 

 

There are fees that are required by the Texas Department of State Health Services and the National Registry of EMT's that are not a part of our course. You may wish to purchase additional uniform shirts, pants, or other items during the class but are not required to.  

 

Will I be certified as an EMT once I finish this course?

No, in order to become certified you must take the National Registry Exam. This course the the required training to be eligible to take that exam. Once you complete and pass the classroom portion and skills testing, you will be issued a course completion certificate which will allow you to take the Examination.

 

How long does the course last?

The EMT Basic course is 13 weeks long and the AEMT Course is 10 weeks. The schedules will be available once they are approved by the State of Texas. 

 

What is included in the tuition?

You will receive uniform shirt, ID Badge and clinical fees. For the AEMT course we also include your skills testing fees and will test you on site immediately following the course.
